Beaches
Loh Moo Dee Beach
One of the least developed beaches on Phi Phi Don, Loh Moo Dee is a curve of soft sand backed by jungle on the south-east coast. Come here when you need a break from everything.
What to expect
Loh Moo Dee is a natural beach with clear water and very few buildings. On calm days the swimming is lovely; in the monsoon, waves can be strong. Some day tours and longtails stop here, but it is usually far quieter than the other beaches.
Getting there
A jungle trail leads from the eastern end of Long Beach over a low ridge to Loh Moo Dee. It is short but rough, with roots and rocks. You can also take a longtail. Bring water and snacks, as there may be nothing to buy.
