Loh Bagao Beach
Loh Bagao (also written Loh Ba Kao) is a long, quiet bay on the east coast of northern Phi Phi Don. It is almost entirely the domain of a large resort, which makes it one of the most peaceful places to stay.
What to expect
The bay faces east, so mornings bring spectacular sunrises over the Krabi coast. The beach is long and sandy, with shallow water at low tide. Facilities are provided by the resort; there is no village, so most guests eat at the resort or take a boat to Tonsai or Laem Tong.
Who it suits
Couples and families who want a relaxing, all-in-one resort stay and plan to explore by boat. Not ideal if you want to walk to restaurants and nightlife. See Luxury resorts.
